I can't wait to see the after pictures...Yay!!! I can't wait to see the after pictures!<br /><br />Yes, they will have weakness after being casted. Not sure if age makes a difference but we were told for every week in a cast, expect a week of recovery. That is what we were told, not what we experienced. After 7 weeks of casting,Matthew was walking pretty good as soon as 12 days later. So expect some weakness, but it will vary how long it lasts.<br /><br />As for his skin, it is hard, but try to keep him from scratching it too hard for a few days.
